The Band

he Eric Tessmer Band consists of four musicians whose high-octane performances are known for packing clubs in Austin, TX .

Eric Tessmer - Guitar/Lead Vocals

Eric was born in Richland Center, WI and was raised in a family of guitarists. Combing his father's record collection at a young age, he developed a deep love for blues and psychedelia. After graduating from high school, he packed up his guitars and moved to Austin, TX in 2000. Too young to get into the clubs, he toured for several months with various Gospel choirs. In 2003, after playing with numerous other bands, he formed the ETB with Allen Daniell and Doug Day. He has played all over the U.S., Canada, and Europe and has shared stages with Hubert Sumlin, Pinetop Perkins, Coco Montoya, Alan Haynes, Monte Montgomery, Storyville, Bugs Henderson, and many others.

Danny G - Bass/Vocals

Danny G has been making a name for himself in the Austin music scene since moving from Corpus Christi, TX in 2000. As a guitar player he recorded and toured with Southern Gun Culture and Shandon Sahm, son of Texas Music Legend Doug Sahm. Picking up the bass to broaden his musical options paid off when he joined The Mother Truckers in 2007, who gained heavy airplay on Little Steven's Underground Garage and a feature interview in Nov 2008 Guitar Player Magazine. He was voted #8 Bass Player for 2009 Austin Music Awards. In 2009 he toured with King's X as Ty Tabor's guitar tech and joined the Eric Tessmer Band full time.

Richard Lamm - Drums/Vocals

Born in Austin, TX, Richard Lamm began playing drums at age 11 and bought his first kit at 16, and began his pro career a month later. He walked away from a music scholarship after one year to continue playing professionally. Since then, Richard has toured 28 countries, played for Chuck Berry, recorded with Alan Wilder (ex Depeche Mode) as a member of the Joe Richardson Express. He joined the ETB in 2008 and "doesn't even OWN brushes!"

Michael McDaniel - Keys/Sax/Vocals

Born into a true family of musicians in Tacoma, WA, Michael picked up saxophone and piano/organ at a young age. His professional career began in his late teens and has taken him around the world numerous times. He has called Seattle, Nashville, Las Vegas, and Austin home. Well-respected on saxophone, keys, AND harmonica, he has toured and/or played with such acts as Bobby .Blue. Bland, Son Seals, Kevin Sharp, Mark Chestnutt, Branford Marsalis, Clay Walker, Bugsy Wilcox, Stacy Mitchhart, Sonny Turner, The Uptown Horns, and Earl Clark to name just a few! He has brought an added dimension to the ETB, not only by way of keys and sax, but also vocal harmony arrangements.
